VICTORIA A. LEFKY

Victoria A. Lefky, age 94, of the Manitowoc Health Care Center, formerly of
1805 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc, entered eternal rest Friday afternoon, Aug. 12,
2005 at the care center.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis of Assissi
on Marshall will the Rev. Daniel Felton officiating the Mass of Christian
Burial. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Victoria was born Jan. 29, 1911 at Two Rivers. She was the daughter of the late
Rudolph and Mary Fliegle Meyer. She attended public schools in Two Rivers and
then became employed with Weyerhauser in Manitowoc. In the mid-1940s through
the mid-1950s, Victoria and her husband Clarence lived in Milwaukee where they
had been employed with private home care. They then moved back to Manitowoc
where they built numerous homes in the area until the time of their retirement.
On July 10, 1933, Victoria married Clarence G. Lefky at St. Luke's Catholic
Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death Nov. 6, 1983. Victoria was
formerly a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Rosary and Alter
Society of the church.
Victoria is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Linda Lefky,
Manitowoc; one grandson: Jayson Lefky, Manitowoc; one brother: Paul Meyer,
Oklahoma; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was
preceded in death by her husband Clarence in 1983, one brother and one sister.
Friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday from 5:30-8
p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7 p.m. lead by Deacon Paul Kieffer.
The visitation will continue at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the
time of services at 10 a.m.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St.,
Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
