LAWRENCE R. LEHMAN

Lawrence (Larry) R. Lehman, 49, of 124 Elm Street, Whitelaw, died Wednesday,
December 9, 1987 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian
Burial will be 10:30 am Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. Rev.
Robert H. Heymen will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Lehman was born July 13, 1938 at New London, Wisconsin, son of the late
Reginald and Hazel Thebo Lehman. He lived at Bear Creek, Wisconsin, as a small
child, moving to Whitelaw in 1946, making his home here since. Mr. Lehman
attended St. Michael Catholic School, Whitelaw and graduated from Valders High
School in 1956. After graduation he served six months in the United States Army
at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He married Janet Pozorsky on May 18, 1957 at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Lehman served with the United States
Army Reserves for eight years. After returning from the Service he worked for his
father at the Whitelaw Implement co. and then later working for Kayson Plastics
Corp. since 1974 Mr. Leyman has been working for Smalley Mfg. co. in Manitowoc
and due to health, retired in August, 1987. Mr. Lehman worked part-time as a
Manitowoc County Deputy Sheriff from 1960-1972. He was a member of St. Michael
Catholic Church, Whitelaw and a member of North East Wisconsin Great Lakes Sport
Fishermen. Mr. Lehman enjoyed fishing very much.
Survivors include his wife, Janet; three sons and two daughters-in-law, William
and Annette (Riesterer) Lehman of Manitowoc and Robert and Linda (Binversie) Lehman
of St. Nazianz and Jamie Lehman of Whitelaw; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and
William Bastianelli of Manitowoc; three grandchildren, Kristi and Kim Lehman and
Mathew Binversie; his step-mother, Lily Lehman of Manitowoc; aunts, uncles, cousins
and friends. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Randy Lehman.
Friends may call at Reinbold-Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, 5 pm to 9 pm
Friday and Saturday from 8:30 am to 10 am at the funeral home. Rosary service will
be held at 7:00 pm Friday by Rev. Richard Heymen.
