ST. NAZIANZ WOMAN IS DEAD AT MILWAUKEE
Mrs. Ellen Lieknam, wife of John Lieknam, Sr., died at Milwaukee
at the home of her daughter with whom she and her husband had been
spending the winter, Mrs. Lieknam was born in Austria 82 years ago
and came to the country as a young girl. The family made their home
at St. Nazianz and she was married about sixty years ago to the
husband who with two sons and five daughters survive her. The
children are Mrs. Mary Doyle, Mrs. Louis Nennig and Miss Ida Lieknam,
all of Milwaukee, Mrs. Frank Proell of St. Nazianz, Joseph of this
city and Anton of Sheboygan.
The remains will be brought to this city and the funeral will be held
Friday morning from the Urbanek and Wattawa undertaking parlors with
service at Sacred Heart by Rev. Father Suby and interment at Evergreen.
