CHARLES H. LEIDER

Charles H. Leider, 64, of 2202 LaFollette Ave., Manitowoc, died Saturday evening
at home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn H. Unke will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Leider was born April 25, 1907, at Birnamwood, Wis., son of the late Charles and
Anna Prelipp Leider. He was graduated from Birnamwood High School with the Class of
1924. In 1926, he moved to Manitowoc. He married Regina Ruether Aug. 30, 1930, at
Forestville, Wis.
He was accounting supervisor for Wisconsin Public Service Corp., Lakeshore Branch.
He was president of the corporation Quarter Centry Club, member and first president
of its Men's Club and president and treasurer of Manitowoc Credit Committee of WPSC.
Additionally, he was former treasurer of Immanuel Lutheran Church and of the Men's
Club of the church and a member of the former Manitowoc Chamber of Commerce. Mr.
Leider had been active in a variety of sports.
Survivors include his wife; a son, two daughters (Survivors omitted for privacy.);
six sisters, Mrs. John Schoenicke, of Clintonville, Mrs. Omar Sengstock, of Bowler,
Wis., Mrs. Inard Kuehne, of Hilbert, Mrs. William Zwirschitz, of Mountain, Mrs.
Bernard Schmitz, of Wausau, Mrs. Richard Zander, of Denver, Colo., and seven
grandchildren. Two brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc from 3 to 9 o'clock
this Monday evening and from noon Tuesday at the church.
