CLARA LEIDER
Mrs. Clara A. Leider, 81, formerly of 2311 Washington St., Manitowoc, died
Saturday, May 30, at Park Lawn Home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 pm. Tuesday at First German Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Leider, nee Clara A. Eberhardt, was born March 28, 1900, at Manitowoc,
daughter of the late John and Louisa Waach Eberhardt. She resided in Manitowoc
all her life and was married to Edwin A. Leider Dec. 19, 1918, at First German
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. They celebrated their golden wedding
anniversary in 1968. Mr. Leider preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1970. She was a
member of Ladies Aid Society of the church and Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel J. and Lorraine Leider
of Sheboygan and Forrest and Alice Leider of Manitowoc; a brother, Harry Eberhardt
of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Walter (Janet) Waegli of Kewaunee; three grandchildren
and five great grandchildren. A daughter, Bernice, and a sister, Amanda, preceded
her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 o'clock to 9 o'clock this
Monday evening until 11 a.m. Tuesday, when the casket will be moved to the church
where the body will lie in state from noon until the time of service.
