WILLIAM LEPINSKY

William C. Lepinsky, 80, of 1705 Washington St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening
at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First German Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc, with the Rev. L. H. Koeninger officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Lepinsky was born at Peshtigo, Wis., Feb. 14, 1880, son of the late Ernst and
Bertha Shimelpfenig Lepinsky. He married Hulda Meyer at Manitowoc Sept. 10, 1901.
For years he was employed by Manitowoc Gas Co., inspecting equipment and settled
at Manitowoc 49 years ago. He had been employed by C. Reiss Coal Co., and from
1923 until retirement eight years ago by Manitowoc Portland Cement Co. He was a
member of Local No. 34, Lime and Gypsum Union.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. William King of Aurora, Ill.; two brothers,
Adolph and Henry of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Nischke of Peshtigo and a grandson,
Robert Kunz, of Peoria, Ill.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, at the State Street
entrance from 3 p.m. Tuesday until 10 a.m. Wednesday when the casket will be moved
to the church where the body will lie in state until the hour of service.
