Robert (Bob) R. Leslie, age 68, a Manitowoc resident, died Monday morning, May 24, 2004, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Bob was born Nov. 21, 1935, in Manitowoc, son of the late Eastman and Ella Krummrey Leslie. He was employed as an assembly worker at Manitowoc Shipyards, Manitowoc Engineering and retired from the maintenance department of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center in 1998. Bob was an avid hunter. Survivors include special friend: Betty Musial, Manitowoc; three sons and daughters-in-law: Tom and Kathy Leslie, Manitowoc; Russell and Letty Leslie, Nevada; Geary Leslie, Manitowoc; four daughters and sons-in-law: Pam and Fred Allen, Ohio; Marcia and Roy Carlos, Nevada; Jenny Leslie, Manitowoc; Angel and Dave Gauthier Jr., Manitowoc; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother: William Leslie, Arkansas; and a half sister: Margaret Schroeder, Manitowoc. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Sarah; a brother: Raymond Leslie; and a sister: Mary Lou Skippon. The Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
