DESIRE J. LESMONDE
D.G. LESMONDE AT HOSPITAL
Desire Gillard LesMonde passed away at the Holy Family hospital at
noon today, death following close on the heels of an operation which
he underwent two days ago. Mr. LesMonde had been ailing for more than
a month. Funeral services have not been arranged for and will be made
known tomorrow.
The deceased was of French extraction, coming to this country from
his native land twenty years ago to settle at Grene Bay where he
lived until five years ago, at which time he came to Manitowoc. He
was employed by the Gas company in the city and was a member of the
Modern Woodman. Surviving is Mrs. LesMonde, two daughters, Mrs. John
Kadow Jr., and Miss Dorothy and a son, Gerald. Three sisters, Mrs.
Henry Gyrion of Green Bay, Mrs. Fred Kocha and Miss Leona Belzienne
also remain.
