Death came to Charles Levenhagen at his home, Ninth and Madison
streets, at an early hour this morning and relieved him of long
sufferings from consumption. He had been ill for eight months and
of late his decline had been rapid.
Born in this city 44 years ago, he had always resided here. He was
employed as a tin smith until obliged to give up the work on account
of failing health. Married twenty years ago, a wife and four children,
George, Carl, Leila and Blanche survive him. He was a member of the
Sons of Hermann and the funeral which will be held from the home
Saturday at 2 o'clock will be attended by the lodge in a body.

Following a long and difficult illness Charles Levenhagen died
Wed. last week of consumption. The deceased was born in Manitowoc
44 yrs. ago and had operated a tinsmith shop until the onset of
his illness 8 mos. ago. He leaves a widow and 4 children. The
burial was held Sat. under the direction of the local Sons of
Hermann Lodge.
