Carl O. Lewis, 82, died Monday, January 11, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Mr. Lewis was born Jan. 12, 1898, at Dover, Wales, son of the late William and Antonette Schuecht Lewis. He married Florence Adams. She preceded him in death in 1951. He then married Linda Wiese June 14, 1952, at Manitowoc, where the couple resided. He was a draftsman for Manitowoc Engineering Company for 20 years, retiring in 1964. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and United Commercial Travelers.
Survivors include his wife, Linda, a son, David Lewis of Goleta, Calif., a daughter, Betty Jane Turner of Springfield, Mo., a brother, Roger Lewis of Stevens Point, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A brother preceded him in death.
