Edward Lewis, 64, of 1306 S. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday at the Holy Family
Hospital, Manitowoc. He had been seriously ill for several months.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Donald Mannard will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born in England, Nov. 24, 1890, and in 1912? married Miss Agnes Tubman.
They located at Ely, Minn., and two years later came to Manitowoc. He was employed
at the Manitowoc Engineering Corp. until taken ill.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Miss Audrey of Manitowoc and Mrs. Jack
Nelson of Decatur, Ind.; two brothers, Samuel and Evan of Dover, N.J.; three
sisters, Mrs. Richard Nicol and Mrs. Nellie ?armington of Winnipeg, Can., and
Miss Leonora Lewis of London, Eng.; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of services. He was a member
of the AFL machinists union, whose members will meet at the funeral home at 5:30
p.m. Monday.
