Mrs. Joseph Lishka, 62, of 512 Buffalo St., Manitowoc, died Monday night at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. D. L. Krembs
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Anna Chalupny was born in the Town of Gibson, daughter of the late John
and Catherine Azcbek Chalupny. She was married at Tisch Mills June 28, 1915, to
Joseph Lishka and the couple always resided at Manitowoc. She was a member of the
Rosary Society of Sacred Heart Church.
Surviving her are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Rudolph Kraemer of Manitowoc; a
son, Clarence of Manitowoc; a brother, Frank Chalupny of Mishicot; and two sisters,
Mrs. Frank Lishka and Mrs. William Damman of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday where members of the
Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 8 p.m.
