CATHERINE S. LISHKA
Catherine S. Lishka, 59, of 4425 Just Court, Manitowoc, died early Saturday
morning, December 31, 1988 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral
services will be 10:30 am Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 am at St.
Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated by Rev. Gerald Prusakowski O.F.M. and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Lishka was born January 16, 1929 at Merrill, Wisconsin, daughter of the
late Arthur and Florence DeRosier Gorman. She married Stanley Lishka on April 13,
1957 at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on September 17, 1981. Mrs. Lishka was
employed 29 years at Aitken-Reed Inc., Manitowoc. She was a active league bowler
in Manitowoc County.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Nancy Lishka of Manitowoc and
Gail and Joseph Fishbein of St. Paul, Minnesota; three brothers and sisters-in-law,
Bill and Janet Gorman of Kenosha, Clifford and Florence Gorman of Newton, Francis
and Marge Gorman of Ohio; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Roberta and Dennie
Easter of Manitowoc and Faye and Walter Houghton of Manitowoc; six grandchildren,
David Petri of Manitowoc, Tracy Hilke of Manitowoc, Timothy Hilke of Manitowoc,
Stacy Baumann of Branch, Carrie Baumann of Branch, Sarah Rae Fishbein of St. Paul,
Minnesota; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death
by an infant son, Joseph; a brother, Harold and a sister, Maxine Rivest.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 4 pm to 9 pm Monday where a prayer service
will be at 7 pm by Father Jerry. Memorials may be made to the Oncology Department
of Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
