MARIE LISHKA (d. 2001)

Marie L. Lishka, age 82, of 1414 S. 19th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning,
July 8, 2001, at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2001 at The
Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church,
Manitowoc. Concelebrating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev.
Finian Zaucha, O.F.M. and the Rev. Thomas Wojciechowski, O.F.M. with burial
at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born Feb. 10, 1919, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Hugo and Edith
Gourlie Menzel. Marie was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, class
of 1937. On Nov. 3, 1945, she married Clarence J. Lishka at St. Mary's Catholic
Church, Manitowoc. Prior to her marriage to Clarence she was employed with Mirro
Aluminum Company. Marie was a member of the Manitowoc Senior Center.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Lishka, Manitowoc; a sister and brother-
in-law: Ceil Menzel, West Bend; Lillian and Rudy Kraemer, Manitowoc; two nephews:
Charles (Beth) Menzel, Green Bay; Tom Menzel, Oconomowoc; two great-nephews:
Curt (Dana) Menzel and Frank Menzel, both of California; two great-nieces:
Rebecca Menzel and Jessica Menzel, both of Green Bay. Also surviving are other
relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Menzel.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
