Lorena B. Liska, age 90, of 1121 S. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Feb. 14, 2006,
at her residence.
Lorena was born in Collins on June 15, 1915, daughter of the late Henry and
Lydia (Lau) Schnuell. She married George J. Liska in Waukegan, Ill. on March 5,
1935. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1978.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Keith and Marilynn Liska, Manitowoc;
three daughters and one son-in-law: Margaret and Albert Czekala, Manitowoc; Cynthia
Simono, Waunakee; Lora Liska, Manitowoc; 13 grandchildren and four great-grand-
children; one brother: Henry A. Schnuell, Milwaukee; and one sister: Olivia Siegel,
Appleton. Lorena was preceded in death by one son: George C. Liska; one brother
and two sisters.
Funeral services for Lorena will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, 2006,
at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. Presiding at the
service will be the Rev. Steven Hahm. Burial of her cremated remains will take
place at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home on Feb. 17,
2006, from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:30 p.m.
