ALMA P. LONG
Alma P. Long, 86, of rural Valders, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 8, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders. The Rev. Oz Twedt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Long, nee Alma Sachse, was born May 20, 1897, at Brillion, daughter of the late Edward and Anna Dieckoff Sachse. She attended Manitowoc schools and was married to Marshall Long June 20, 1925, at Manitowoc.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Virgil and Rosemary Long and Eugene Long of Jefferson City, Mo., and a daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Elmer Hecker of Valders, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Her husband and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of service.
