Mrs. L. Looker Passes Away Today, Aged 32
Death came to Mrs. Helen Looker, 32, wife of L.E. Looker, coast guard officer,
at the family home 909 South 20th street, this morning, terminating an illness
that had extended over three years. Funeral services wil (sic) be held Monday
afternoon at 3, Rev. Koeninger officiating. Mrs. Looker nee Helen Birkholz,
was a native of Reedsville where her mother, now Mrs. J. Borths resides. She
was born April 23, 1897 and married December 25, 1916. The family has resided
here for three years, previously having made their home in Philadelphia, New
York, Boston, Marinette and Green Bay where Mr. Looker's duties called him.
Besides her husband and mother, Mrs. Looker is survived by two children, Elaine
Gwendolyn and Edward C. and by three brothers, John Birkholz, Seymour, Albert
of Shawano and Richard of this city and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Herfort,
Green Bay and Mrs. Martha Hagenow, of Reedsville.
