JULIA LORENZ (d. 1955)

Mrs. Herman Lorenz, 56, of Rt. 5, Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening at Memorial
Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Rockwood Lutheran Church, the
Rev. Edward Ell officiating, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Julia Eslinger, daughter of Mr. and the late Mrs. Michael Eslinger,
was born April 22, 1899, in the Town of Mishicot. She was married in 1920 to
Herman Lorenz and the couple farmed in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids.
She is survived by the husband, a son, Victor of Rt. 5, Manitowoc; two daughters,
Mrs. Alfred Brandl of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, and Mrs. Marvin Junk of Manitowoc; father,
Michael Eslinger of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; three brothers, Ervin of Mishicot, Carl of
Neillsville, Wis., and Edgar of Sheboygan Falls; five sisters, Mrs. Edward Puta
of Mishicot, Mrs. William Tegen of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, Mrs. Louis Kracht of Sturgeon
Bay, Mrs. Paul Seelow of Neillsville and Mrs. Herbert Seelow of Stratford, Wis.,
and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:30 p.m. Thursday until 10 a.m. Friday
when the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in state until
the hour of service.
