Harry E. Marshall Sr., 68, of 711 N. 6th St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning, January 25, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Prayer service of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc, with Deacon William D. Klein officiating and burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Marshall was born January 10, 1917, at Augusta, Georgia, son of the late John A. and Annie L. Faulkner Marshall. Mr. Marshall grew up and was educated at Augusta, Georgia. Prior to his retirement in 1981, he owned and operated Snuffy's Tavern in Augusta, Georgia for 22 years. Mr. Marshall resided with his daughter and son-in-law since 1983. Mr. Marshall was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Athletic Club, and Eagles Aerie Number 706.
Survivors include a son and a daughter-in-law, Harry Edward and Edwina Marshall Jr., of Augusta, Georgia; four daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara J. and William Farr of Manitowoc, Laura Marshall of Atlanta, Georgia, Carolyne and Keith Betz of Dallas, Texas and Barbara A. and Bruce Salters of Round O, South Carolina, 18 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, other relatives and friends also survived. He was preceded in death by a brother, John A. Marshall.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday afternoon where an Eagles Memorial Service will be at 7 p.m. and a prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. by Deacon Klein.
