MARY ELLEN MARSHALL
Mrs. Chester B. Marshall, 60, of 1510 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc, died Thursday at
home.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home and at 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. E.A.
Radey will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Marshall, nee Mary Ellen Beneteaux, was born Dec. 28, 1907, at Thessalon,
Ontario, Canada, daughter of the late Alfred and Elizabeth Theabeault Beneteaux.
She was married to Chester Marshall Oct. 17, 1930, at Mackinaw City, Mich., and
the couple located at Manitowoc in 1932. She had been employed by the Kresge Co.
for 25 years. Mrs. Marshall was a member of the Mystical Rose Circle, Daughters
of Isabella and the Christian Mothers.
Survivors include the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Ellen) Schliesleder
and Mrs. Duane (Margaret) Greicar of Manitowoc, three sisters, Mrs. William W?ham
of Cheboygan, Mich., and Mrs. Sam Kasner and Mrs. Richard Frise of Bay City, Mich.,
and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home, Ninth Street entrance, this Friday evening
where at 7 o’clock a parish vigil will be conducted and at 7;30 o’clock the DI
members will recite the Rosary.
