Matthew (Mike) Marshall, age 85, of Boscobel, died on Monday, December 19, 1983,
at the Boscobel Memorial Nursing Home. He was born on September 9, 1898 in Iowa
County to Matthew and Edna (Swenehart) Marshall. He was a furniture store salesman
and manager and a Veteran of World War I. Survivors are a son, Douglas of
Manitowoc; three grandchildren; a brother, John of Avoca; two sisters, Marion
Ferrero and Lola Marshall, both of Vallejo, California. Funeral services will be
held on Tuesday, December 20, 1983, at 7 p.m. at the AVOCA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
with Pastor Richard Fuller officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery
in Manitowoc. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the BEEMAN FUNERAL
HOME in Boscobel and from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church in Avoca.
