Mrs. Louis Marshek, 69, of 1040 N. 12th St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been hospitalized since March
after suffering a stroke.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Mittnacht Funeral Home and 10
a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo Schmitt will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Florence Ann Bauer was born March 26, 1899, in the Town of Manitowoc
Rapids, daughter of the late Peter and Ida Coutley Bauer. She attended St.
Boniface School, Manitowoc, prior to working at the Mirro Aluminum Co. and at
Schmitt’s Grocery on Western Avenue, Manitowoc.
She was married on July 5, 1921, to Louis Marshek at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
Manitowoc.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Max (June) Woellert of
Manitowoc and Mrs. George (Violet) Iraci of Milwaukee; four brothers, Edward,
Reinhart and Raymond Bauer of Manitowoc and Victor Bauer of Rt. 4, Manitowoc;
two sisters, Mrs. Nick Kreil and Mrs. G. Tuschl of Manitowoc and two grand-
children.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where at 8 p.m. the Rosary
will be recited by the Holy Innocents Christian Mothers Altar Society and the Holy
Family Hospital Guild.
