Mrs. Inez E. (Sis) Marshek, 95, a resident of Shady Lane Home for six years,
died Sunday evening, January 27, 1991, at Shady Lane Home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Phipps Memorial Chapel of the
First Presbyterian Church. Rev. William Plank will officiate with burial to
follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Inez Warren was born April 29, 1895, in Manitowoc, daughter of the
late Louis and Louise Keune Warren. She grew up and was educated in Manitowoc.
She married Joseph C. Marshek on September 27, 1916, in Manitowoc. The couple
resided here for their 68 years of marriage. Mr. Marshek preceded her in death
July 4, 1984. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church for over 50 years,
Board of Deacons and a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Elsine) Vollendorf, of Manitowoc;
two grandchildren, Robert Vollendorf and his wife, Deanne, of Manitowoc, Mary
Breivogel and her husband, Peter, of Manitowoc; four great grandchildren, John
and Heidi Breivogel, Jon and Amy Vollendorf; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Margaret
Bruemmer of Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, three
sisters, three brothers and her son-in-law, Robert Vollendorf.
Friends may call at the Chapel on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of
services. Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei assisted the family with
arrangements.
