FRANCES MATTE

Frances "Bell" Matte, age 99, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center,
Manitowoc, died on Sunday morning, May 1, 2011, at the center.
She was born on Dec. 24, 1911, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frank and
Mary (Sobesky) Jagodinsky. On April 19, 1948, she married Louie Matte at St.
Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1966.
Frances was a former member of the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Mary
Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also
preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters: John Jagodinsky, Max
Jagodinsky, Frank Jagodinsky, Raymond Jagodinsky, Edwin Jagodinsky, Peter
Jagodinsky, Paul Jagodinsky, Ann Jagodinsky and Josephine Jagodinsky.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 6, 2011, at St Francis
of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial
will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen with burial at Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall,
Manitowoc, from 10 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, until 10:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to St. Francis of Assisi
Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
