Gladys M. Matte, age 99, a resident of North Ridge Medical & Rehabilitation
Center, Manitowoc, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at the center.
Gladys was born on May 1, 1908, in Bryant, Wis., daughter of the late John
and Julia (Kasha) Pacer. On June 1, 1929, she married Walter Matte in Antigo,
Wis. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1991. Gladys was employed at National
Tinsel Company, Manitowoc for 34 years, retiring in 1981.

Gladys was also preceded in death by four brothers and eight sisters.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home &
Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, from 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, until
the time of service at 11 a.m. Officiating at the service will be Mr. Richard
Kreager with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
