Mrs. Doris N. McCarty, 61, died at her residence, Manitou Manor, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and
at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John Hephner will
officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. McCarty, nee Doria Dolan, was born April 2, 1915, at Menominee, Mich.,
daughter of the late William Dolan and Mrs. Valeda LaBine Dolan. She was
married to Elmer Haase in 1938. He preceded her in death in April of 1949.
She was married to Donald McCarty in 1951. The couple resided in Texas. Mrs.
McCarty returned to Manitowoc two years ago and had been employed at the
Doctor Simon Medical Office, Manitowoc.
Survivors include a son, William McCarty, of Houston, Texas; two daughters,
Mrs. Susan Hood and Miss Mary Jane McCarty, of Dallas, Texas; her mother, Mrs.
Valeda Dolan, of Manitowoc; a brother, Harold Dolan, of Two Rivers, and two
grandchildren.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home Wednesday morning until the time of
service.
