Sad Occurrence At Mishicott. - With deep regret we state that Charles, aged 10
years, the only son of Mr. Guy Miles, was drowned in the river at Mishicott on
Saturday last. He was last seen with a spear near the slide of the dam about 10
o'clock ,and was missed shortly afterwards when search was made, which continued
until 4 o'clock, when his body was found below the dam. He was a bright,
intelligent lad, and the idol of the people of that village. The bereaved parents
have the heartfelt sympathy of all their friends.
