EMIL MILLER PASSES AWAY
Former Grocery Store Owner Here Dies In Racine
Emil J. Miller, 66, who formerly operated a grocery store in this city, died
Friday in Racine, according to messages received here. The body reached Manitowoc
this afternoon and was removed to the Pfeffer funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the funeral home. Burial
will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Miller was born in Manitowoc. He operated a grocery store on Western avenue
for a number of years. Later he disposed of the store and was employed by the
Aluminum Specialty company.
Widow Survives
Forty years ago he married Miss Ella Foerster of this city. Ten years ago Mr. and
Mrs. Miller left Manitowoc to locate at Racine.
Survivors are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Violet Lee, Racine; four sisters, Mrs.
Henry Tess, Mrs. George Althen and Mrs. John Baetke, all of Two Rivers, Mrs. Herman
Sengbush, Mishicot; three brothers, Albert, city, Charles, Two Rivers, Edward,
Stangelville.
The body may be viewed at the Pfeffer funeral home.
