Melanie A. Miller, age 43, of 770 E. Albert Drive, Manitowoc, died Wednesday
morning, Sept. 11, 2002, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at St. Mary
Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will
be the Rev. John Conrad.
Melanie was born July 2, 1959, in Manitowoc, daughter of Eugene and Kay Duckart
Miller. She was a graduate of Valders High School, class of 1977. Melanie was
employed with Domino’s Pizza as a personal secretary. She was a volunteer for
the Manitowoc Humane Society. Melanie liked to help people, enjoyed traveling
and was an avid Beatles Fan.
Survivors include her parents: Eugene and Kay Miller, Cato; two brothers and a
sister-in-law: Mitchell Miller, Cato; Monte and Nancy Miller, Manitowoc; a
special niece; Katie Miller, and her paternal grandmother: Margaret Miller,
Manitowoc. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She
was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Joseph and Alvina Duckart
and her paternal grandfather: Arnold Miller.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home &
Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday (TODAY) where a prayer
service will be held at 7 p.m. led by Father Conrad. Friends may also call
Saturday morning at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills, from 10 a.m. until
the time of service at 11 a.m.
Melanie enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her cats. She will
be sadly missed by all who knew her.
