Mrs. Tillie Pech, 78, formerly of 1215 Cherry Rd., Manitowoc, died
late Friday morning at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday at Schneider-Mittnacht
Funeral Home and 9:45 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Richard Verhasselt will officiate with burial in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Pech, nee Tillie Petska, was born Oct. 17, 1897, at Rosecrans,
daughter of the late Alberta and Anna Hamernik Petska. She was
educated in the Rosecrans area. She was married to William S. Pech
Oct. 14, 1919. They operated a farm in the Town of Gibson until 1951.
Mr. Pech preceded her in death in 1954. She was a member of Holy
Innocents Parish, Christian Mothers Altar Society and Manitowoc Senior
Citizens.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Grace) Krish and a sister,
Mrs. Lillian Fidler, of Manitowoc, a granddaughter (private), and
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m.

William Pech of this place and Miss Tillie Petska of Rosecrans were married on
Tuesday of last week at the county judge's office in Manitowoc. The attendants
were Albert Petzke and Miss Mary Kapitz. After the wedding a reception was given
in their honor at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Petska
Sr. The happy couple are both well known young people of this section of the
county and will make their home on a farm in this vicinity. The correspondent
joins their many friends in wishing them good luck on their journey through life.
