JOHN A. PEKARSKE (d. 2005)

John A. (Jack) Pekarske, age 80, a resident of 2004 Menasha Ave., Manitowoc,
entered into eternal rest, Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005 at Holy Family Memorial Medical
Center, Manitowoc.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Gerald Foley at Holy
Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc, Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005 at 11 a.m. Burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Friends and relatives may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation
Center, Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until
the time of Mass at 11 a.m. A prayer service, led by Deacon Paul Kiefer, will be
held Tuesday evening (TONIGHT), at 7:30 p.m.
Jack was born on June 30, 1924 in Manitowoc, to the late John J. and Mary Grace
Kadow Pekarske. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1942. He served with the
United States Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre of War. He married
Eunice M. Rappel, March 5, 1945 at Fort Bliss, Texas. Jack owned and operated
Molded Rubber Products in Manitowoc for 35 years, retiring in 1992. His memberships
include Holy Innocents Catholic Church, the Manitowoc Elks and Eagles clubs, the
R.O.M.E.O. Club and a charter and life member of the Wisconsin Rubber Group.
(Survivors omitted for privacy.)
Preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Tom Pekarske.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc,
is assisting the Pekarske family with funeral arrangements.

Daniel Pekarske of Tanzania, East Africa; Kathryn (Norm) Masterlark of Manitowoc; Mary (Dr. Ron) Lese of Mishicot; John (Estella) Pekarske of Georgia; Joseph Pekarske of Florida; James (Sarah) Pekarske of Colorado; Nancy (Bob) DeWitt of Manitowoc; 16 grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
