Mrs. Eugene Pernot of 1417 S. 11th St., Manitowoc, died early Saturday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be at 2 pm at Urbanek & Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Roland L. Schwandt officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Pernot, the former Mary Wippler, was born at Plymouth where she was married Nov. 10, 1897. The couple resided at Plattville, Fenimore and Appleton before coming to Manitowoc. Mr. Pernot died in 1955. Mrs. Pernot was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. Roland Cherney of Manitowoc and four sisters, Mrs. Walter Wendt of Milwaukee, Mrs. George Nickell and Mrs. William Kennedy of Sheboyga and Mrs. John Krauss of Plymouth.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 pm Monday.
