Mrs. Robert Runge, 66, of 1230 (or 1280?) South 10th street, died Monday night
after a week’s illness.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., from the Wattawa, Urbanek and
Schlei funeral home, the Rev. C. H. Phipps officiating. Interment will be in
Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Runge, nee Elizabeth Houghton, was born in this city in 1872 and always
resided here. She was married to Robert Runge in 1890.
Survivors are the widower; four daughters, Mrs. William Zimmer and Mrs. Richard
Simmer, Manitowoc Rapids, Mrs. Erwin Mlada and Mrs. Erwin Vieweger, city; four
brothers, William, Frank, Charles and Walter, all of this city; three sisters,
Mrs. Charles Allen and Mrs. August Baeckmap, city; Mrs. Blanche Series, Milwaukee;
and six grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from this evening until the hour of
the services.
