MARY RYDER
Mrs. Joseph Ryder, 78, of 950 N. 22nd St., Manitowoc died Monday
morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a
patient three weeks.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jens Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Krist Kaune will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Ryder, the former Mary Marshek, was born Aug. 1, 1888, at
Taus, daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Hynek Marshek.
She was married to Joseph Ryder March 16, 1908. She taught Sunday
School for many years at St. Paul Methodist church, Manitowoc.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Clarence, of California
and Chester, of Manitowoc; two daughters, Genevieve Ryder at home
and Mrs. John Fisher, of Manitowoc; three brothers, Joseph and
Louis, of Manitowoc and Peter, of Waukesha; a sister, Mrs. Harold
Bruemmer, of Two Rivers and four grandchildren. A son, two sisters
and a brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
