MARY SPEVACEK (d. 1972)
Mrs. Mary Spevacek, 84, of 722 S. 15th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday at Holy Family
Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Duane Dionne will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Spevacek, nee Mary Mleziva, was born Sept. 8, 1887, in Manitowoc County,
daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Vodwaska Mleziva. She was married to
Anton J. Spevacek Oct. 21, 1908, at Cooperstown. The couple resided in Milwaukee
until 1969, coming to Manitowoc. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, a son, Eugene, a daughter, Mrs. Milton (Eleanor)
Franke, and a brother, Frank, of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Caroline Neurnberg,
of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9 p.m.
Thursday where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
