Albert F. Stock, __, of ___ S. 13th Street, Manitowoc, plant foreman at the
Manitowoc Public Utilities, died unexpectedly of a heart attack late Wednesday
afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Stock had been at the plant during the morning, came home for lunch and after
returning to work felt ill and returned home. The Fire Department rescue squad
was called and administered oxygen, removing the tank to the city ambulance
when the patient was moved to the hospital. He died an hour later.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the first German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. L. H. Koeninger will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born Aug. 17, 1891, in Newton, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Stock,
and came to Manitowoc in 1913. He was employed by the Wisconsin Public Service
Corp., for eight years and since then had been with the public utilities, a plant
foreman in recent year.
On Sept. 8?, 1915, he married Miss Jennie Daeke. She survives with a son, John,
of Manitowoc; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Janning of Newton, Mrs. Emma Fehring and
Mrs. Reuben Heise of Manitowoc and Mrs. Arthur Awe? of Owen, Wis., and two
grandchildren, Patrick and Eileen Stock, of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Friday. The casket will be moved to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
