MARY SWEIKAR

Mrs. Wenzel Sweikar, 90, of 626 N. Fourth St., Manitowoc, died Friday morning
at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
and at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Claude
LeClair officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
She was born Mary Seidl Sept. 12, 1872, at Chicago, daughter of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Stephan Seidl. She was married April 27, 1892, to Wenzel Sweikar at
Kewaunee and the couple farmed in that area for one year before moving to
Manitowoc. Her husband preceded her in death 20 years ago.
Among survivors are three sons, Edward and Stanley of Manitowoc and Paul of
Sacramento, Calif.; a brother Wenzel of Kewaunee County and four grandchildren.
One son and two daughters preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where the Rosary will
be recited at 8 p.m.
