Mrs. C. Wichmann, 72, Passes Away Sunday At The Hospital
Mrs. Carl Wichmann, 72, who with her husband, resided at 1214
South Ninth street, passed away yesterday at the hospital here
were(sic) she had been confined for the past few days. The deceased,
whose maiden name was Mary Kasten, was born in this city and always
made her home here with the exception of twenty years when she
resided in Chicago.
The remains will be removed tomorrow afternoon from the Wattawa
and Urbanek funeral home to the residence of Mrs. Charles Krumm,
1414 South Thirteenth street, a niece from where the funeral
services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and at
two o'clock from the Emanuel Lutheran church, with interment at
Evergreen.
The husband, Carl Wichmann and a number of nieces and nephews
survive.
