James W. Wondrash, 67, of Rt. 2, Fremont, died Saturday at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Richard Maurice will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Wondrash was born June 2, 1907, at Two Rivers, son of the late Joseph and
Veronica Kanchura Wondrash. He married Erna Mundt June 24, 1933, at First German
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. They resided at Manitowoc until moving
to Fremont four years ago. Mr. Wondrash had been employed at Anheuser-Busch Inc.,
of Manitowoc for 37 years, retiring in 1970. He was a member of Manitowoc County
Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff's Assn., Manitowoc County Fish and Game Protective
Assn. and St. John East Bloomfield Lutheran Church of Fremont.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Earl, of Green Bay; a brother Peter of Two
Rivers; a half-sister, Mrs. Beatrice Bayens, of Sheboygan and five grandchildren.
A daughter, LaVerne, preceded him in death.
