Ann J. Yindra, 71, a Manitowoc resident who resided at 1329 St. Agnes Drive,
Green Bay, died Saturday morning, May 22, at St. Mary Hospital, Green Bay.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m.
at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Kuhr will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Ann was born April 21, 1911, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frank A. and
Mary C. Neidl Yindra. She attended Manitowoc public schools, graduating from
Lincoln High School with the class of 1928. She received her Bachelor of
Elementary Education Degree from Oshkosh State College and her Master of Arts
Degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee as a reading specialist. She
taught school at Sheboygan, Appleton, Menomonee Falls, Hartford, Watertown and
Green Bay. Ann was a member of National Educational Association, Wisconsin
Educational Association, International Reading Association, and a charter member
of Holy Innocents parish.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Francis (Alice) Yindra of Manitowoc,
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday where a
prayer service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. by Deacon Kenneth Nelesen.
