Mrs Myrtle Eisenhower Miller, 148 East High Street, died last night in the Baker Nursing Home, RD3, Mechanicsburg, where she had been a guest for one year.
Mrs Miller was born in Rich Creek, Ohio, a daughter of the late Oliver and Loraine Hackett Parker Miller, and lived in Carlisle for many years.
Twice married, she was the widow of Harry T Eisenhower, the former Carlisle Mail carrier, and Irvine F Miller.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church and of the Mite Society of the church.
A private funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 South Hanover Street. The Rev Charles T Sardeson, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Old Graveyard. There will be no viewing.
