Mrs. Ellison was a native of Holmes County. She had lived in Byram since 1991 having come from Terry, where she and her husband had retired. Mrs. Ellison was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother and member of Crossroads of Life Church in Byram.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon T. Ellison; siblings Annie Mae Byrd, Mary Jessie Bowland and Walter (Bud) Wigley.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy E. Hollis and son-in-law, David S. Hollis of Byram; brothers, Noel and Moses Wigley of Lexington; sisters, Pauline Carney of Madison and Bettye Sue Johnson of Little Rock AR; grandchildren, Nina V. Hollis and David Gordon Hollis.
