Jerry was the son of Ben and Mary. Brother to Fern and Judy. Uncle to Johnny Shane. He was married to Leodar Cora Dalton. (LC) They had one son, Stacey Lynn Scearce. Jerry was killed in a MVA, in which his second wife was driving. She was drinking and turned in front of a truck that hit the car on Jerry's side. He was the only fatality. Jerry worked as a crane operator and dozer operator all over the state of Kentucky. Our father started him working construction when he was 15 years old, in Kentucky. He built bridges. Jerry was my big brother and I always looked up to him. Jerry had so much love and admiration for his mother.
I love you, Judy

O how praying rests the weary!
Prayer will change the night to day;
So when life seems dark and dreary,
Don't forget to pray.

As each happy Christmas
Dawns on earth again,
Comes the Holy Christ Child
To the hearts of men.

Enters with His blessing
Into every home,
Guides and guards our footsteps,
As we go and come.

All unknown, beside me,
He will ever stand,
And will safely lead me
With His own right hand.
