Born in Claremont, she was the daughter of Carroll M. and Edith F. (Colburn) Dodge.
On April 5, 1952 she married her husband Bernard Pierce in Concord.
Barbara was a long time resident of Concord and was a long time member of Immanuel Community Church where she was also a member of the choir.
She attended The Boston School of Fashion Design in Boston. She worked as a telephone operator and for 35 years as a cook with the Concord School System.
She was predeceased by her husband Bernard Pierce who died in 2002.
Graveside services will take place at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
