Ruth Marietta Litolff passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the age of 64. Beloved wife of the late Curtis F. Litolff, Jr. Daughter of Ruth and the late Matthew J. Jenny. Mother of Nicole Gettle (Jerry), Colleen Trosclair (Brian), and the late Catherine Melissa Hamm and Curtis F. Litolff III. Grandmother of Elizabeth Gettle, Trey Gettle, Ashley Hamm, Shaun Hamm, Rebecca Hamm, Justin Hartdegen (Julie) and Brian P. Trosclair, Jr.
Her life revolved around her loving pets, which she is also survived by, Buster Beau, CoCo Lu, Rockie and Scooter.
Ruth was a native of New Orleans and a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish until Hurricane Katrina. She enjoyed reading, movies and watching her favorite television show, Bones.
Relatives, friends and employees of the St. Bernard Parish School Board are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 7:00 PM. Burial will be private
