Leo S. Elsey, age 79, died Sept. 20, 2005 in National City, Calif. He was born August 5, 1926 in Vinta, OK, to James and Johnnie Elsey. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Bobbie; daughter, Kathy Kerr of Las Vegas, NV; son, Scott Elsey of Elk City, OK; three grandchildren, Matthew Kerr, Brad and Allison Elsey; sister, Anabelle Parsons of El Cajon, CA and many loving nephews and nieces.

He was a firefighter for the City of National City for 26 ½ years before retiring in 1978.

He was nominated for Youngman of the Year in 1960 for his involvement with youth sports for 13 years, especially little league baseball.
