MARTHALYN COX SYKORA

Marthalyn Hope Cox Sykora was born Feb. 1, 1913, at Millsap, Tex., and died Dec. 7, 1946, at Cherokee, Okla.

She moved to Enid in 1917 with her family and married Frank Sykora on Oct. 22, 1934.

A daughter, Margaret Lou, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Sykora was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include her husband, Frank; two daughters, Sharon and Elizabeth Ann; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.G. Cox of Enid; a sister, Mrs. John R. Webb, Tulsa; a brother, Guy Cox of Amarillo, Tex.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, in the Grand Avenue Methodist church, Enid, with Rev. H.H. Allen of Cherokee and John R. Webb of Tulsa in charge. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery.

SISTER'S DEATH IS LEARNED

News has been learned of the death of the sister of Mrs. John R. Webb, Mrs. Marthalyn Sykora at Cherokee.

Rev. and Mrs. Webb of Tulsa attended the funeral services at Enid yesterday.

Mr. and Mrs. Jess Stiger, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbern Fowler, Glen and Dorothy and Walter Fowler attended a dinner given Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Sykora at Enid, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sykora, who were recently married.
