On Aug. 11, 2012 Brittney Lorraine Jimerson passed from this world and rests now in peace with our Lord. She precedes her Mother, Yvette Taylor Russell, her Father, Frank Jimerson, Step Mother Kristin Katibah, Grandparents Gary and Lorraine Forbes, multiple Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many loving friends. She was a country girl who loved trucks, fishing, mud, friends and family. Brittney leaves an empty space in all our hearts but will always be remembered as a loving daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, sister to so many. Forever missed but will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, August 17, 2012 at Russell Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Edenfield, pastor of St. Johns Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery in Green Cove Springs. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Russell Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Brittney's aunt Michelle Taylors memory to AIDS Healthcare Foundation, 6255 W. Sunset Blvd. 21st Fl., Los Angeles, CA 90028. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka.
