Christopher Lafayette Thomas was also known as Fate Thomas He was the Sheriff of Davidson County for many years. He never knew a stranger and was a friend to everyone he met. Fate was my friend for over twenty five years. He helped every body that came to him and when he had to put some one in jail for the crime they committed, he would go the extra step and help their families with all he had. He is now and always will be missed.
