age 72, of Centerburg, died June 6, 2000 at Manor Care Nursing Center in Westerville. She was born December 1, 1927 in Pittsburgh, Pa. to Harry B. and Rose W. (Hofer) Morrow. She was a retired bookkeeper from G.R. Smith Hardware and served 2 consecutive terms as mayor of Martinsburg. She is survived by her husband, John Ingalls, to whom she had been married 5 years; 2 sons, Daniel (Ann) McDowell of Columbus, David (Cindy) McDowell of Centerburg; 3 grandchildren, Victoria, Bryon and Shannon; 1 brother, Harry K. Morrow of Pittsford, N.Y.; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands William E. McDowell in 1982 and Lauris D. Dewitt in 1992. A private family service will take place at Owl Creek Cemetery, Utica with Rev. Claude Likins.
